Back in May, we reported about the launch of the Amazfit T-Rex 2 fitness watch. Now, the company is introducing the its new fitness tracker called the Amazfit Band 7. This is coming as a successor to the Amazfit Band 5, which was launched back in 2020.
The device which looks very similar to the Redmi Smart Band Pro, has the code name Bari. It features a 1.47-inch AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 194 x 368 pixels and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. The devices weighs 28 grams and is 5 ATM water resistant.
Main features of the device include a PPG optical heart rate sensor for 24/7 heart rate tracking as well as sleep and stress monitoring. Other features include getting notifications from paired smartphone, Option to set alarms or reminders, as well as seeing the weather right on the smart band.
It is believed to support more than one hundred different sports modes and also has the capability to automatically detect different types of workouts. The device is sporting an 8MB of RAM and packs a 128MB of storage. The fitness tracker will pack a 230mAh battery that is expected to run for up to 18 days. For intensive usage, the device is expected last for up to nine days.
It will be able to pair with smartphones running Android 5.0 or iOS 10.0 and higher via Bluetooth 5.1. The Amazfit Band 7 is expected to be priced at $50. More details when the device is officially launched.
