Infinix Mobile has unveiled its latest series of smartphones in its Zero series. The new device includes the Infinix Zero X, the Zero X Pro and the Zero X Neo. These devices will be the company’s first three phones to feature periscope lenses. The three smartphones come sporting 5x optical zoom and 60x digital zoom, which makes them all capable of capturing a Moon shot.
The smartphone also introduced a new camera algorithm which the company is calling, the Galileo Engine. According to the smartphone maker, this helps to control the camera while capturing images of the Moon. It then processes the data and outputs the best result.
For the camera details, the Infinix Zero X Pro features a 108MP rear sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), while the vanilla Zero X has a 64MP sensor (with OIS), and the Zero X Neo comes with a 48MP camera (no OIS). The phones also featured an addition 8MP periscope lens and an 8MP ultrawide sensor that doubles as a macro shooter. On the front, is a 16MP shooter with dua-LED flash on all three.
Other spec details showed the Infinix Zero X and the Zero X Pro sporting a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate support. The Zero X Neo on the other hand, features a larger 6.78-inch LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate.
Both the Zero X, Zero X Pro and Zero X Neo smartphones are powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 chipset built on a 12nm process. It features two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.05GHz and comes paired with a Mali-G76 MC4 GPU. As for the battery, both the Zero X and X Pro both packed a faster 4500mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. The Zero X Neo on the other hand, comes with a bigger 5000mAh battery that support 18W charging.
For the interface, the three smartphones run on the latest Android 11-based custom UI XOS 7.6. Storage wise, both the Zero X and Zero X Neo come with 128GB of internal storage. The Zero X Pro is available in two storage options that include 128GB and 256GB. All three devices are paired with 8GB of RAM on-board.
You can get the Zero X Pro in Nebula Black, Starry Silver, and Tuscany Brow colours, while the vanilla Zero X only comes in Black and Silver. The Zero X Neo is available in Black, Silver, and Bahamas Blue colour options.
The prices of all three devices has not been unveiled by Infinix, but all the variants are expected to go on sale in Nigeria, Thailand, Indonesia, Egypt, and other regions soon.
