After introducing the Hot 20i back in late September 2022, Infinix is already working on an upgrade. Known as the Infinix Hot 30i, with a model number X669, the device was spotted on the Google Play Console.
While the Hot 20i came with a Helio G25 processor, the new Hot 30i is expected to arrive with the Unisoc T606, a 12nm chip with 2x Cortex-A75 and 6x Cortex-A55 cores, plus a Mali-G57 MP1. The phone is expected to come with 4GB of RAM and will run full Android 12.
Rumors suggest that the Hot 30i might have up to 8GB of physical RAM in some configurations, which will be paired with another 8GB of virtual RAM. Storage capacity will be 128GB. The old model had a microSD slot, this one might as well.
Additional rumored specs include a 50MP main camera on the back (up from just 13MP on the 20i), a 6,000mAh battery (up from 5,000mAh) and a fingerprint reader (moved from the back to the side). The display will remain at HD+ resolution, however, 720 x 1,612px, specifically.
The phone is reportedly coming with a premium “glass-like” finish on the Blue, Black and White colorways and a “Marigold” (orange) version with a leather-like texture.
Other version such as the Hot 30 and Hot Play models are also expected. The new series will be launched in India on March 27.
