Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has announced that it will start rolling out the ColorOS 13 globally on August 18. This was shared on the company’s official Twitter handle. According to the post, the company revealed that the event will begin at 11AM UTC and will be streamed live on the company’s official YouTube channel and social media handles.
The new ColorOS 13 is based on Android 13 and Oppo revealed that it integrates Android 13’s underlying safety and privacy features and provides customizations similar to Google’s Material You.

The ColorOS 13 is expected to come with a new design and features tailored to deliver a better experience on large displays and provide seamless interconnectivity between multiple devices for enhanced efficiency and productivity.
For now, we can’t tell when the stable version of ColorOS 13 will begin to roll out, but those who own the Oppo Find N, Find X5, or the Find X5 Pro and live in China, Australia, France, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, UAE or Vietnam can sign up for the ColorOS 13 beta, if they don’t want to wait for the stable version’s release.
