T-Mobile divides its 5G network into two types and this includes 5G Extended Range and the 5G Ultra Capacity.

5G Ultra Capacity: This is indicated by the 5G UC icon and it comes as a faster version of the regular 5G network. This appears on you are on a stronger network signal. See this, means or indicate that you are connected to either mid-band or millimeter wave (mmWave) 5G. This is the T-Mobile’s faster 5G network.
