Sony is getting ready for the launch of the Xperia 1 VI And Xperia 10 VI, as both devices have been leaked ahead of the official launching. Both upcoming smartphones were leaked by MSPoweruser and Evan Blass respectively. While MSPoweruser shared details about the specs of the upcoming Xperia 1 VI, Evan Blass via X (formerly Twitter) shared some images of the Xperia 10 VI device.
According to MSPoweruser, the Xperia 1 VI is expected to have frosted textured glass on the back and fine slits on the sides for a better grip. It will be available in black and platinum silver colors. The phone will be powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, while packing a 5000mAh battery with wireless and reverse wireless charging. It will feature a triple rear camera setup with each camera expected to have a 48MP Exmor T lens.
The Xperia 10 VI on the other hand, is expected to be available in three colors options that includes, white, black, and light blue. This is according to the images shared by Evan Blass on X (formerly Twitter). Although no specifications details was revealed, but it is believed that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC and supported by a 5000mAh battery.
From the images suggest that Sony continues to offer full water resistance, possibly with IP65 and IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance similar to its predecessor. The front of the phone features Sony’s tall screen, which may be slightly wider than before. Thick strips at the bottom and top of the screen remain due to the forward-facing speakers, as indicated by the images. Volume buttons are located on the right side, along with a power button that integrates a fingerprint reader. Additionally, there’s a headphone jack on the top edge.
The Xperia 10 VI will come with only two cameras along with an LED flash between them. This will include the main and ultra-wide-angle cameras. Rumuor has it that the phone might feature a 48MP resolution with a 2x Zoom option. May 17th have been scheduled for the official launching, so stay tuned for more update.
