How To Fix iPhone 13 Pink Screen Issue

For a while now, some iPhone 13 users have been experiencing issues of their screen turning pink. According to reports, this is being caused by a bug which Apple still hasn’t fixed yet. The bug causes apps to freeze, slow perform and eventually shut down. The problem seems to be happening, only to the iPhone 13 series and not other Apple devices.

The issue has cropped up on the Apple Communities Forum board where many have shared their experience. One person reported that their GPS was inaccurate and the phone’s display turned pink. Another said the battery was acting weird and the phone kept freezing and then proceeded to pink screen. While a good number of users have complained about the issue, Apple hasn’t really rolled out a fix yet.

As at the time of writing this report, Apple isn’t sure what exactly is causing the bug. While we await an official fix from the phone manufacturer, here is what you can do to fix to the problem.

How to fix the pink iPhone 13 screen bug

  1. Try Restarting Your iPhones: One of the simplest way to fix this problem is by restarting your iPhones.
  2. Updating All Your Apps: Try updating all your apps to the latest version. you can do this by going to (App Store > tap profile picture – top right corner – > swipe down > choose Update All)
  3. Running The Latest Version Of iOS: Another simple way to fix this problem, is to check if you are running the latest iOS version on your phone. If you are not, then head over to Settings > General > Software Update. Click to update to the latest version.
  4. Wipe And Restore Your Phone: This method is a more time-intensive approach. You can try wiping your iPhone and restore it from a backup.

If any of the above methods don’t work, then you can try reaching out to Apple support. While there’s no guarantee, some users with the issue have reported getting their iPhones replaced.
